Unsuitable soil was discovered during the placement of a new sanitary sewer mainline. Crews are on-site placing a segment of pipe in this area and will be backfilling as soon as possible. 9th/Avon Street has been reduced to one lane to ensure the safety of the workers as well as traveling public. It is not expected that 9th/Avon Street will be reduced to one lane 5/5/2022.
